Today a special package arrived from our friends in Tokyo. Idiot Savant Theater Co sent us a Moon Lute - traditional Japanese Gekkin (月琴). We now begin creating sound and film designs for their new production "AKIRUNO" which will premiere at Tokyo Tokyo Festival in July this year.
Belloo Creative of Australia are also collaboration partners with us. GCA is delighted to begin working with both companies again.
We are looking forward to incorporating the acoustic qualities of the Moon Lute into a contemporary soundscape. During unboxing, digital artist Jac Grenfell tested the lute’s unique timbre. Wow!
